Describe the story that anthropologists think the bones and tools they have discovered reveal about prehistory

Sagot :

The study of bones reveal human physical traits that have changed over time.

The study of tools reveal that the hominids were handy and created tools that were used for cutting, scraping, chopping or sawing plants, animals ad wood.

Evidence of Early Hominid Groups.

Scientists and anthropologists have studied remains and artifacts and believe that there was an emergence of different groups of hominids at different times in prehistory. For example, about 2 million years ago, a group of hominids called Homo habilis (‘handy man’) emerged.

Scholars gave them this name because they thought these were the first hominids to make stone tools. Another group called the Homo erectus was given the name the “upright man” because their skeletons show fully upright walkers. They were notable for having larger brains and bones and smaller teeth compared to other hominids.
