What is the difference between the question and hypothesis steps in scientific inquiry?

Sagot :

Gibbs
The question and hypothesis steps in scientific inquiry are different and constitute a progression. First a scientists constructs a research "question" that seeks to investigate some kind of phenomena in the world. A later step is to construct a "hypothesis" or potential explanation of the phenomena in the research question. The hypothesis is then used to guide the experiment to determine the validity or invalidity of the hypothesis.
