The reaction we will be doing in lab is to take sand(SiO2),baking sod(NaHCO3) and reacting that with HCl. The HCl with the react with the NaHCO3 and one of the products is CO2. SiO2 does not react.What is the balanced chemical reaction for this chemical equation?

Sagot :

I believe that this equation is
[tex]SiO_{2} +NaHCO_{3} => CO_{2} + NaOH + SiO_{2} [/tex]
