6 divided by three fourths

Sagot :

6 / [tex] \frac{3}{4} [/tex] Well a number can't be divided by a fraction so you multiply by the fractions reciprocal (the fraction flipped 1/2's reciprocal is 2/1, 3/4 reciprocal is 4/3 ect..) so 6 or [tex] \frac{6}{1} [/tex] times [tex] \frac{4}{3} [/tex] would be [tex] \frac{24}{3} [/tex] which simplified is 8.
