Around 1050 BC, Alphabets of Phoenicians were used for the writings and it soon became the most widely writing system in the Mediterranean which were spread by the Phoenician merchants and it evolved many other cultures which included Roman alphabets which are even used today by the western civilization. Though Phoenicians did not survive, There are some of their achievements which even last today. Greece and Rome took key elements of this culture. They had alphabets which symbolized the sound with noise and Greeks later added these noises to vowels.
