So m= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (4-1)/(3-(-3)) = 3/6 = 1/2
And by using (a,b) this tells us that a=-3 when b=1 AND a=3 when b=4
Therefore the full equation must be either
y-1=1/2(x+3) AND
y-4=1/2(x-3)
