Henry Patrick was said to be among the founding fathers of the United States of America and the first governor of the state of Virginia. He was a known gifted orator who opposed the ratification of the constitution of the United States of America.  

During the second Virginia convention held at St John’s church in Richmond, in March 1775, Henry Patrick gave the famous speech, “Give me liberty, or give me death!.” The purpose of the speech was to urge the American colonies to revolt against England.
