What are some poems that have puns?

Please hurry!!!

Sagot :

Some poems that include puns is the poem "My mother took me to the mall"

My mother took me to the mall

to visit Old Saint Nick.

She wanted me upon his knee

to snap our yearly pic.

We do it every Christmas but,

this year, I changed my mind.

I thought I’d like a photo

of a slightly different kind.

I didn’t sit on Santa’s lap

or climb up on his chair

despite the fact that Santa was

the reason we were there.

Instead, I grabbed my mother’s phone

and ran up to an elf

and snapped a photograph

with Santa’s helper and myself.

My mother looked confused

but I just grinned from ear to ear

and said, “I took an elfie

for my Christmas pic this year.”

Another poem that includes puns is the poem "I Think My Dad Is Dracula"

I think my dad is Dracula.

I know that sounds insane,

but listen for a moment and

allow me to explain.

We don’t live in a castle,

and we never sleep in caves.

But, still, there’s something weird

about the way my dad behaves.

I never see him go out

in the daytime when it’s light.

He sleeps all day till evening,

then he leaves the house at night.

He comes home in the morning

saying, “Man, I’m really dead!”

He kisses us goodnight, and then

by sunrise he’s in bed.

My mom heard my suspicion

and she said, “You’re not too swift.

Your father’s not a vampire.

He just works the graveyard shift.”
