Why do fishes die when they are taken out?​

Cuz for humans we need oxygen to breathe, for fish the way they breathe is water, if humans don’t have oxygen we die, if fish don’t have water they die.

Fishes take oxygen through their gills. Gills are richly supplied with blood capillaries and can readily absorb oxygen dissolved in water. Gills of fishes are not equipped to take in gaseous oxygen (oxygen from air). Hence, a fish when taken out of water is unable to inhale oxygen rich air and so, dies quickly.
