G1 Phase is first. This occurs after the cells have divided. During this phase a lot of protein synthesis happens in order to increase the amount of cytosol in the cell.

Synthesis Phase is second. During this phase, a cell copies it's DNA.

G2 phase is the last one. In this phase the cell prepares to enter mitosis. The DNA being already replicated, now the organelles need to replicated. The cells and the organelles will divide this is called cell division.
