Sagot :
More Often times I look at life with an open heart, leaving out all of the sad times and unforgettable pain. Without bad times, the good times wouldn’t seem so wonderful. The summer of 2012 was the moment my life changed forever. My grandfather (we call him Pop pop) was 76 years old and the most loving person anyone could meet. He came to America off a boat from Italy when he was twenty years old and has lived in Ambler, Pennsylvania since then. In the summer my cousins and I spent our days swimming in my grandparent’s pool. July 20th, 2012 was one of the warmest days all summer long.

“He was trying to do something nice for us,” I said rudely. My pop pop found the ice cream shop and we all lined up in front of the menu to find something that looked appealing to our taste buds. After everyone was satisfied and got their ice cream, we left for home again. Shortly after we got home, our parents arrived to pick us up.
I said goodbye to Pop pop and explained the story to my dad on the car ride home, but he only said, “I’m sure he’s just tired, you kids wear people out.” Later in the summer my brother, Nick and cousin, Jake were going golfing with our pop pop. He was watching my pop pop’s driving techniques, when he realized they weren’t headed in the direction of the golf course. Suddenly, Pop pop turned down a one way street, going the wrong direction.
From the backseat Nick hollered, “Pop pop stop, stop, turn around you’re going to get in trouble!”
“Oh shush, we’ll be fine,” Pop pop said, “I know how to get us there.”
“You are going down a one way street the wrong way! Turn around before someone hits us!” Nick
