Answer:

I hope this helps! Feel free to change or delete whatever you want to. I timed myself reciting it, and it was a little over two minutes, but I do kinda talk fast. If it doesn't work for you, you can add your own things in to make it longer or have more you.

Explanation:

Cliftan Fadimon once said that "[A] foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make it's own people comfortable." I disagree. No, nations are not designed to make foreigners "comfortable", but they weren't made to make their native inhabitants "comfortable" either. The way I understand it, all countries were designed for at least one of the following purposes: Providing resources, stealing resources, hording resources, or cultivating resources, and these resources are usually some kind of currency. When I travel to another country, unless I'm providing said country with resources, I'm not expecting any "comfort" from them. Now, I'm not saying that exchanging resources for a nice experience away from home is a bad thing. In fact, when I go on holiday to another country, I often spend a plethora of time and money on things I enjoy, especially immersing myself in the culture and history of the place I'm visiting. Walking around bustling cities, tasting traditional foods, and getting to glimpse the regular lives of people from other places is an amazing opportunity. I wouldn't mind at all giving my resources to Italy, or Zimbabwe, or Egypt, because I find those countries exceptionally fascinating! And while sharing these wonderful experiences with loved ones is a treasure, travelling alone has it's own magical quality to it, like this beautiful place might just be a figment of your imagination, a fabulous dream you never want to end. So while the countries themselves aren't designed for your comfort, or even for the comfort of their native inhabitants, that doesn't mean that travelling to foreign countries is a waste of time, money, and/or other valuable resources. These nations were built for different reasons, and both fortunately and unfortunatly, they require resources to be sustained. Providing foreign countries with resources that you're willing to give away is worth the exchanged beauty that comes with travelling to a place you've never been. Getting to visit an awe-inspiring new universe is a priveledge, and resources are never wasted on travel if you love the world.
