Do you think most Cos-players don't dress up for fun but only to feel more closer to being the character and start trying to act like the character and forget who they actually are. I seen some teen girls trying to look like H a i k y u u characters thinking they look like hot guys and trying to act like them.

I think it can be both. it's personally not my cup of tea, and I never got the hype. But if it makes someone happy and its harmless, then so be it (;

Uh— I would say yes and no. Some cosplayers could cosplay to BE like that character, and some may just do it because they like the character a lot.
I don’t really cosplay but I’ve seen people that do. Some cosplay try to act like the character just to act out the character like they are in the anime/show etc. using it for guys is kinda questionable, I’m not really sure why they’d do that..?? But anyways I hope this helps
