Did you know that there are over 300 different species of Octopus? I found that super interesting, and my favorite fact is that they have three hearts! If that wasn't interesting enough then did you know that they have the highest brain to body mass ratio of all intervertebrales, it is also higher than many vertebrales! Along with a large brain it has an extremely complex nervous system, however around 2/3's of the neurons are located in the tentacles! The most interesting fact that I have found about octopus (and some squid) is that they are colorblind, but biologists are thinking that due to their oddly shaped pupils that they can see some colors or hues which allows them to mimic for camouflage!
