Corn tortillas are considered one of the main staple foods of Mexico and many Central American countries. They are made by combining corn flour, water, oil, and salt to make the dough. From there, the dough is either flattened and shaped by hand or by using a tortilla press. The dough tortillas are then cooked on a comal (cooking plate made out of earthenware or metal) or on a griddle. They are typically eaten at every meal. Have you ever eaten corn tortillas? If so, did you like them? What did you eat them with? If not, do you think you would like to try some? Do you know of other types of tortillas? What kinds? Do you have a special food that is eaten commonly in your country or culture? What is it?

Sagot :

I’ve ate corn tortillas with many things and I love them very much. You can basically eat them with anything. Some food I eat them with are tacos, any meat with rice and even soup. Some other tortillas besides corn are flour tortillas. These are typically used for burritos or making quesadillas.
