They inform him that a new federal law allows them to confiscate his rifles so that he may not engage in terrorist activities or plot against the US government. Which of his Constitutional rights were violated? List ALL possible answers and explain how each applies. (Hint: Look through the Bill of Rights amendments to help you identify ones that would fit his situation. There are a possibility of 3 amendments that apply.)

3. Explain how the Connecticut Plan compromises between the New Jersey and Virginia Plans. (How does the Connecticut Plan combine features from both the NJ & Virginia Plans? How does the Connecticut Plan ensure fair representation between populous and less populated states?)

Extra Credit: The preamble of the Constitution begins with the line "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union... establish this Constitution for the United States of America." The line, "a more perfect Union," can be interpreted as a reference to the challenges America experienced under its first constitution, the Articles of Confederation. What weaknesses/ challenges did America have under the Articles of Confederation and how did the new Constitution improve on the previous national government model?
