Joseph went to a grocery store twice recently. Both times he wrote down the prices of some his favorite foods. He noticed the prices had changed the second time he was there. Below are the price changes:

bananas: + $0.05 per pound
bread: - $0.02 per loaf
ice cream: + $0.22 per gallon
cookies: + $1.39 per package
cereal: - $0.99 per box

1. Which food item had the greatest price change? 2. Which food item had the smallest price change? 3. Which 2 food items saw about the same price change?

Please answer all 3 questions is sentence form.

Sagot :

Answer:

Do you have choices?

Step-by-step explanation:

Answer:

cookies, bread, bananas and bread.

Step-by-step explanation:

well 1.39 is the biggest number there so that’s obviously the greatest price change. the bread only went up 2 cents so that one is definitely the smallest, and the bananas are 3 cents away from the bread amount, which makes it so that they’re closest in price change. hoped this helped!!

Sentence forms:

The food with the biggest price change is cookies because it is adding over $1 and no other foods are adding over $1.

The food with the lowest price change is bread because it is only going up 2 cents and everything else is 5 cents or higher.

The 2 foods that are closest together are bread and bananas because they are only 3 cents apart and nothing else is closer to them.
