hii im not a history student nor do ik much about history BUT
just because someone is in poverty doesn't mean they are a failure.
People can be born in poverty eg. many people in India are born into poverty because they havent been given an education because the fees for schools are way too high for them to afford it meaning that if they get no education= no job. If you get no job= no money and thats why they are in poverty. Because they cant afford it meaning their kids have no education either and their kids have no education either.Although it could be. Some people may have the money and not work hard in their studies= which means they will fail exams= which means they will get no degree= which means no job= no money= poverty!
lol thats why we need to work hard!
so technically it's a 50/50 answer it all depends on your background. If you dont have money and cant afford or if you do have money and ur just lazy and cant be bothered to study etc. So my bottom line is that poverty can possibly be a result of failure or your financial status or other reasons
