She was eating in the small place by the roadside with her friend. They were having food and talking. The food was almost finish, but they keep talking and joking. Suddenly an old woman came to the next place where they ate with a plastic bag in her hand. She was collecting bottles, cardboard and everything that she could sell it again. The old woman looks like she is 70 years old. Age where she should have enjoyed her old age with her grandchild. Then she come to her and asked her “Excuse me, have you had dinner already?” she replied “Not yet” the girl offered her to get the food with her, and old woman said to the girl “Is it OK for you?” the girl smile and invite her to have dinner together, but she refused and wants to take away the food. She asked the seller to make the food, but the seller said “Do you know her? Is she your neighbor?” she said “Nope, I don’t know her” and smiling. They sat down together, the girl asked some question to old woman. Her husband passed away 10 years ago, she live by herself and earn her own money. Her daughter living with her husband in other city and has 2 kids. She doesn’t want to live with her daughter because of personal things. So she live by herself. Then the food was already served. The old woman was looks so happy and thankful to the girl. Her face full of smile and happiness.
It’s not about how much we give to others and you know them or not. But it’s about sincerity. We feel happy when we see their face full of smile because of what we did. Today or maybe one day we will need other help. Karma does exist if you believe in it. If you do bad things, you will get bad things back, if you do good things you will get good things back.
