Why do you think that many Americans perceive crime rates are rising when in reality they are falling? What factors may influence public perception?

Sagot :

Answer: I feel like since more people are home considering the pandemic, they get to actually watch the news more and pay more attention to the world around us instead of going to their job. Before we were so focused on school and work and now it’s as if the world has stopped and we are forced to pay more attention to it. So we may be more attentive to the crime in our area now, and that’s because we have never took the time to look at it.
