After exiting the sphere, Mr. Bedford proves that his knowledge of science is greater than Mr. Cavor’s.
After leaving the sphere, Mr. Cavor uses his intellect to guide Mr. Bedford out of the cavern.
Inside the sphere, Mr. Cavor is methodical and dominant but he later becomes disheveled and emotional.
