An effective campaign doesn't happen by accident. It
reaches its goal for several reasons. One reason is that
the campaign has a good idea behind it. If people are
excited about the idea, they may want to be part of it. For
instance, Joe Wos is a cartoonist who started a
campaign. He wanted to raise money to self-publish a
children's book called The Three Little Pigsburghers. He
wrote the story the way people in the city of Pittsburgh
talk. People in that city got excited about the book. They
had never seen the tale told in this way, so they wanted
the book to be published.
