It is not in fact a sin if you are religious and thats how your religion sees it. In the bible, in samuel 2, there is a section of verses that depict one of the people actually in a gay relationship. i respect them but no more than anyone else because it shouldnt be like "OH wow thats amazing" it should be normalized and made not weird. they are generally very nice people and again i respect them unless they are the type that critisizes other people for not liking them or being on board with the idea. everyone can have their own opinions  but i agree that if they are being mean about it, either side, its okay to say something in return.
