To anyone who doesn’t know what the stamp act is
The government needed money to pay for the French and Indian war so he made colonists pay taxes It made colonists angry and protested and boycotted some were shot because they were throwing snowballs at them. (5 of them including Samuel addams) Under this act colonists had to buy stamps and place them all on printed documents, in clouding letters,wills,newspapers, and even playing cards. Samual adams one the colonists who led the fight against the stamp act wrote a letter which said “If our trade may be taxed, why not our lands? Why not...everything we posses or use?”
