I need to know what kind of research project i can do with PTSD and smoking. I found four empirical studies that said PTSD has higher rates of smoking compared to those with no Ptsd or that only have trauma and not PTSD. but i need to do my own research experiment. does anyone have any idea what i can do related to this topic? for the life of me i can't think of one

Hm. It’s true that people that suffer from trauma find coping mechanisms to handle the stress. Maybe see what percent of soldiers with ptsd smoke or drink etc. This is obviously closely related but that’s all I could think of atm.
