hi, can someone help me write a bridge to connect these?
I'm supposed to write a bridge to connect my hook and thesis but I'm confused

(I'm writing an argument speech)

question: Should doctors or pharmaceutical companies be held accountable for patients who develop opioid addictions?
my pov: yes

hook: Between 20-30% of people that are prescribed opioids misuse them and 8-12% of people develop an addiction to them. Approximately 80% of heroin users first started with opioid addictions. These prescriptions have caused the deaths of over 400,000 people since the year 2000.

thesis: While it is the patients' responsibility to take the medication properly, pharmaceutical companies should take safety precautions to prevent the misuse of the drug.

thanks!

Sagot :

Answer: The people that create these drugs could possibly know if opioids are addictive and I think they do. I also feel like doctors know people's value of things sometimes and they would possibly want to ruin that for those people because they just want their paycheck. The people that make these drugs make these because they also know if someone is in a hospital and they are there for an important reason those doctors are going to give them drugs. Those drugs they make are dangerous and they know that. So, yes I believe they do put people on to addictions.

(I'm so so sorry if this is bad, I'm not so good at this writing thing)
