Was Stalin successful in achieving the kind of state he described in this passage?

It’s a long shot but I am pretty sure it won’t be solved anyways.

Sagot :

No he wasn’t successful in achieving the kind of state described. Instead of being oppressed economically, the people of the Soviet Union were oppressed by a ruthless dictator. Stalin’s policies effectively led to Russia’s prosperity, however, the citizens were not granted freedom of speech. Citizens were slaughtered for disagreeing with their government. It was mass oppression. A different kind then he elaborates on in the passage.

Hope this helps!
