What is an Avox? How do they fit into society? What is their purpose? Should Katniss have intervened when the hovercraft took the girl? Why or why not?

Sagot :

Answer:

In the Suzanne Collins book, an Avox is someone who has been punished for rebelling against the Capitol.  An Avox fits into the dystopian society because of their criminal status. The Avox's purpose is to slave over the Capitol's residents and over the 24 tributes during their 3 days with in the Capitol. Katniss should have not intervene when the girl is taken. Think of it this way; if Katniss had intervened, would she have survived? Or would there have been more than one casualty? Acknowledging that the morally sound answer would be yes, we should consider the logical information that Katniss more than likely wouldn't have made it out of that situation in one piece. The capitol is very aggressive and would not hesitate to execute Katniss for rebelling.
