I feel that when the United States started to view itself as a prospering economy, rather than a United Nation, as intended, it became less desireable. Yes, the United States is a successful nation, in all aspects, it is a wonderful place to live. Yet, it is not what it claims to be-United. This is due to the obsession with money, jealousy, and encouraging inflation. When money becomes a center of discussion for politics, rather than what is best for the nation, it is an issue. I feel that the over-concern with money and the country's economy has caused some long-lasting issues that I do not know if we will be able to reverse.
