Compose a paragraph in English of four to six sentences summarizing how lunchtime has evolved in France. Mention at least one reason for this change, and explain what la journée continue,"the continuous day," means. Don't copy+paste from internet

Sagot :

Answer:

Two-thirds of the French now  take the meal from noon in a cafe fast food or cafeteria instead of family lunch at home. Why this change? There are many reasons. Among others, the increase in female work and distance of the work place have inevitably influenced the way the French eat lunch. The women work and cannot spend their morning shopping and preparing lunch. Also the distance between home and work is often too far away to be able to go home for a family lunch. Unlike their parents, the children eat lunch in the school canteen instead of going home. This new way of life is within a new French phrase “the day goes on” . This word describes how parents and children leave their home in the morning to go to work or school and do not go home until evening. for many French people the main meal of the day is now dinner because of the day goes on despite these changes one of the most esteemed pleasures and France Remains the Sunday meal with the family
