Firstly better job oppurtunities and pay is available in urban areas than rural. Rural's primary occupation is farming which doesnt have much surplus, whereas many people can earn a lot in many different jobs in urban areas.

Then there are better resources like health, food, and recreational facilities in urban areas including hospitals, shops, parks etc. whereas country life doesnt have the best facilities to live a full life.

Finally, urban areas are the social hubs of society, which is not present in rural areas. That itself is a big attraction.
