What is the area of the obtuse triangle given below?

What Is The Area Of The Obtuse Triangle Given Below class=

Sagot :

Use the formula given to you with the triangle and the two numbers that are in the triangle.

Answer: D. 104.5

Step-by-step explanation:

I’d say the answer is D. 104.5 sq units but I’m not very sure because for a triangle it’s area is 1/2*b*h. I did that and I got 104.5 but the thing is, is that there is a part you need to subtract which is what I can’t figure out. I tried doing the area for the little triangle and then subtractinto it from the total but I got an answer that wasn’t an option.
