What does this quote mean?

“You can’t win, even if you whip us. You’ll still be where you were before – at the bottom. And we’ll still be the lucky ones with all the breaks. So it doesn’t do any good, the fighting and the killing. It doesn’t prove a thing. We’ll forget it if you win, or if you don’t. Greasers will still be greasers and Socs will still be Socs.”

PLEASE HURRY! I NEED TO GET A BETTER GRADE ON THIS!

Answer:

the way that I view this quote is this;

just because you beat someone at something, it doesn't always make you better. even if you do get the pleasure of feeling better, it doesn't always mean you are. if someone is trying to beat someone for the feeling of superiority, it doesn't make them any better than they were before. people should just put their feelings to the side and do what's best for themselves.

feel free to build off of this. hope it helps!

It’s saying that no matter who you are , you can never get past us because we’re greater and better in many different levels
