When Zebra is running he feels as if he is flying. In the first paragraph it states that "there was a hill on Franklin Avenue by the time he reached that hill, he will feel his legs so light it was as if he had no lights at all and he was flying." You can tell Zebra enjoys running by that description. When he is running its as if he is no longer a zebra but instead a bird he once saw in a movie. In one of the paragraphs it states that " he would go running through the neighborhood for the sheer joy of feeling the wind on his face." That is the feeling Zebra feels when he is running.
