I would say agree.

I agree with the author's opinion because many video games contain leveling up, getting prizes, new characters, etc which can become very addicting. Also, if you think about it all of those are also like gambling. it becomes so addictive that you can't stop "gambling".

But, to support and prove this we would have to find expert quotes, and statistics.
