This historians believe that the stablished interpretation of history is not unalterable as it was written in a specific context by certain people that had a different perspective than today's one. In this way, these old historians were generally influenced generating biases that the revisionists try to find and correct.  With new information and more precise methods of study, they try to be closer to the actual facts, separating them from the information generated from the values or interests of the previous authors.
