With a 12 V battery, what is the voltage drop across each resistor?

In a parallel circuit the voltage ( DIVIDES / DOES NOT DIVIDE ) across each resistor.
The voltage across each resistor is __________.

Call me delusional, but I can't shake the weird hunch that there's supposed to be
a drawing to go along with this question, showing the values of the resistors and
exactly how they're connected to the battery.

In a parallel circuit, the voltage does not divide across each resistor.  Resistors
in parallel have the same voltage across both.  If two parallel resistors are the
only things connected to your battery, the voltage across each resistor is 12 volts.
