Sagot :

Answer:

Reconstruction was a time of great change througout the south for both freed slaves and plantation owners. Laws were put into place to protect and ensure freeoms of freed slaves. The 13th, 14th and 15th amendment allowed freedoms to slaves that never existed before. While these amendments grated them freedoms and the right to vote some states found ways to still limite freed slaves. Southern states inacted laws like Jim Crow laws that placed limits on their rights and made registering to vote difficult. Some slaves were able to open their own business and obtain an education. While there were great strides made many were still locked into their old way of life, struggling to get ahead, and working as tenant farmers in poor conditions. Freedom came in different forms during this time, which changed with time.
