Eukarya is a group of organisms that consist of eukaryotic cells Eukaryotic cells are very small, but larger than prokaryotic cells. Eukaryotic cells have larger nuclei, and more advanced organelles such as the mitochondria, golgi apparatus and smooth and rough endoplasmic reticulum. Both plant and animal cells are eukaryotes, though plant cells have the thick cell wall.
