In simple words, Lin will be more hardworking and dedicated towards studies as compared to Ben as Asians, in general, are more oriented towards studies and academic success. Although there could be one difference, Ben will be more inclined to study from an understating and knowledge gaining perspective while Lin will be more inclined to get higher grades and not to actually understand the topics.

Education system of countries differs as well as the level of comprehension.

Lin will be hardworking towards his studies. He will think that He needs to study hard so as to make it in life and as such will really work towards his studies.

Ben as United States citizen, has all it takes because they have more advanced system of education. He will pero better but not as Lin. His orientation towards studies and academic success differs from Lin as he believes education is not all that one takes to succeed.

He will study to have an understating and gain knowledge while Lin will be more interested to get higher grades.

Conclusively, education is very important as well as comprehension of it.
