This summer I decided to spend two weeks in Texas. My friend invited me and said that it would be interesting to live an experience completely, in a place so different from my city. The trip was very fruitful and I didn't feel much difference from Texas and my city, in terms of structure, but I could see the influence of agriculture in the place. We stayed at an inn and we always had fresh food and lots of fruit. We hardly eat industrialized foods, which made me see that our hosts like good homemade food. I thought it was wonderful. I could also see that Texans have a lot of influence from Mexican culture. in many places songs were being sung in spanish and the people were very receptive and warm, unlike what i see in my city, which is usually more reserved.
