Every hour the earth will rotate 15 degrees of Longitude. Days begin and end on the International dateline which for the most part follows the 180 deg line of Longitude. If you are moving from west longitude heading into East Longitude (traveling West) You will move into tomorrow. If you are in the eastern hemisphere and travel into the western hemisphere (traveling East) then you will move into yesterday.
