I couldn’t believe what my dad had just said! I had been having the perfect day with my besties and as soon as I stepped into my house, he was standing there with his arms crossed like some sort of bodyguard. I’d been planning to take a shopping trip with all the girls after school today but apparently he had other ideas. Guess what he said? In’s absolutely incredulous! “Hey hun, we’re broke.” Bloody hell, broke! No more shopping trips for a while now it seems. I might even need to find a job. Thanks, dad, for ruining my perfect day.
