Answer:

Saint Peter’s Basilica; artist used vertical lines and horizontal caps when creating this structure.

This structure is the Saint Peter’s Basilica or The Papal Basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican, Italy. This basilica is an Italian Renaissance church in Vatican City, the papal enclave within the city of Rome which was designed by Donato Bramante, Michelangelo, Carlo Maderno and Gian Lorenzo Bernini.

The architect Carlo Maderno used vertical lines to emphasize the strength and permanence of the building and horizontal caps on the columns to keep the façade from escaping into the heavens, as it was too broad for its height, too cramped in its details and too heavy in the attic story,  and to help contain it as a piece of art (follow Michelangelo’s pattern).
