Explain the needs, pressures and compromises that led to the writing and adopting the Constitution.

Sagot :

Answer:

Needs:

What is the need for a constitution?

A constitution is nothing but a book of the country, It describes everything from rule of law, to government roles and responsibilities to even how the government must be elected or removed. It also goes further into all the branches of governance including the appointment of courts, judges, and also jurisdiction.

The need for a constitution is immense as it provides a valuable guide to end almost every deal lock-in ruling the country. It is a book that perhaps is the most valuable asset for the country.

Pressure:

Before formally adopting the constitution kings were the rulers and they ruled the way they wanted, They did not have a proper process to address complex situations like ownership of property, etc. After formal government and elections have come into being there is no further scope for such actions by the elected members so there is no other way for the country than to adopt a constitution

Compromises:

When you go by law there are many compromises we make, The best example is delayed that happen in our society due to the implementation of the constitution.

Every single court case has to go through a lengthy process of settlement and appeal, This will waste a lot of time for the government,

Also here the government will have limited powers, Courts on the other hand also have limited powers. There are many areas in which compromises are made.

To construct a national highway or high-speed rail line takes a much longer time for settlement than it would have been without the constitution. But a good process is put in place so no one would suffer.

The biggest compromise in the adoption of the constitution is simple, the Government lost absolute authority over the state.
