In the poem, it states “It seems to be very irking, to people at work to see other people not working” implying that people get frustrated when they have to do something, like work, and another person doesn’t. Then it says, “So they tell you that work is a wonderful medicine”. It is explaining that when people see you not doing what they have to, like doing a job they hate to earn money, they make it so you have to as well.
