Do you think it makes a difference if a continent is at the “top” or “bottom” of the map? Does it matter if a continent is larger or smaller in relation to other continents and on the map and on the globe? What do you believe is the best map for use in classrooms and the general media, such as news reporting. Is there a map that’s accurate for everyone? What recommendations do you have for school settings?

Sagot :

Answer:

In my opinion.

1. No, there's no difference if a continent is at top or bottom of a map because the world is round so you can find that continent on both top and bottom of the map, for example like Antarctica in the Globe.

2. Yes size of every continent is very important so that you can differ them and identify their own characteristics and geographical setting.

3. In classroom, globe is better so kids can easily undertand Earth's geography, example, they will know that Earth is round and East and west, south and north were connected to each other.

In media like news reporting or weather forecast, it's better to use map, it has advantage to those watching amd can easily understand.
