To grow solid through suffering, humble yourself before God, resist the devil, trust the Lord, and stand firm in God’s grace with the saints. 1. To grow solid through suffering, humble yourself before God (5:6-7).

If we suffer with humility and gentleness towards our enemies, there is the additional opportunity that our suffering might be redemptive, that is, help bring about their salvation as they see Christ in us.
1 Peter 7-9 “these trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests purified gold - though your faith is more precious then mere gold . So when your faith remains strong through many trials , it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world”

What I take from these few verses of first Peter: when we go through trials and sufferings at the end of the day it’s for Our benefit and Gods glory, just like fire test gold or just like rocks are put under pressure and ground up before it can be a diamond. We have to go through trials and tough situations but coming out of it we will be as refined as gold , we get to use our sufferings to help others and draw people closer to God. Your pain has a purpose and although it may suck right now God will work everything out for the good of those that love him
