Can someone have a kind heart and awnser my question to make me feel better. friendship was seperated 5 years ago I reconnected with them on 2021 from 2014 but they still act the same is this normal? like my friend is a male we both are males. we have a little bit to speak to each other. he does talk alot of o invite him out somewhere but during school his personality is not the same. his personality during school is quiet but outside of school he's more talkative can anyone have the answer for this? when I was a kid he never spoken to me I tried my best I still love him very much. why does my friend only wants to play videogames during school? during break he playing a few videogames on our phones to have fun but during lunch he doesn't want me why's that? like he wouldn't want to play again and then there wouldn't be much to do. he only plays with his friends during lunch and I'm just standing there for 20 minutes doing pretty much nothing.​

For me i have been in a similar position as you, i personally think that something might have happened throughout the 7 years. My friend took a long time to actually talk to me again after trying and trying, your friend could be going through something that they just cant explain, and they might find it hard to socialize thinking that people might judge them. But as long as you try and get them to talk ever now and then, then they might start talking again. But make sure that you don't force him.Maybe video games is taking his mind off something he doesn't want to think about.
