There were 6 eggs in an egg cup. 6 people took 1 egg each, but even so there is one left. How is that possible?

5 people get one egg each and when the last one is left the sixth person takes it along with the basket. So he has the egg but still there is an egg in the basket.

So all get 1 egg each and still there is one left in the basket.
